Hey hey!

Refreshed, energized, and ready to take on the end of the semester!

A bunch of us enjoyed the beautiful Monterey and the golden sun rays this past weekend (Fri-Sat 4/25-4/26). Upon arrival, we filled the night with fun games and light snacks. And we woke up w/ a splash playing water basketball, tennis, and then finally sitting down to a nice quiet time of reflection through Psalm 23.

Our adventures included fishing for... fish? No, star-fish! And snails, other squishy water animals and the like. We roamed around the tide pools in search of mysterious sea creatures and afterward made our way over to the beach and set up camp fire before an amazing view of the ocean! After putting up the nets and playing a few rounds of badminton under the hot sun, we had some delish chicken wrapped with veggies cooked over the fire, with clam chowder on the side. And to top it off, we enjoyed some crazy banana boats for dessert!

Finally - we trekked over to Point Lobos to enjoy the beautiful sunset and be struck with awe of God's wonderful creation.

We had a blast at Monterey and definitely look forward to more fun-filled and memory-making adventures such as this one!

Looking at the pictures I felt kinda like this was a commercial for Triscuts and Wheat Thins XD and the commercial is talking about how if you eat Triscuts then you can be like cool awesome Kairos people and see the beautiful Monterey! Yay Kairos!

LOL, yeah. I think we have way too many pictures that Triscuit or Wheat Thin in them. Jessie is like the official spokesperson.

I am going upload some pictures from Kam's picture when I have time (she is really good at catching people in awkward moments btw).

Haha it's because she so awkward herself hahah just kidding Cam! By the way Yang you should load all the awesome James sleeping in car pictures Cam took. And the one with Eugene and Hung being very "intimate" and showing their brotherly love with each other haha.

Hmm...let me think about this. I need to at least get the consent of James to put those pictures up. Well, for Eugene and Hung.........even if I have their consent, I am not sure whether whether I want that picture up =)
